Sustainability and Insurance

In its relationships with clients and business partners, the Orenda Broker family adopts the principles of the Sustainability Programme declared by the United Nations in 2015 and:

• encourages compliance with sustainability principles,
• strives to build a more sustainable and resilient insurance sector,
• supports the development of risk management services and insurance products that promote resilience against climate change, nature-related risks and other emerging risks, particularly in areas affecting vulnerable communities,
• informs its clients and partners about the importance of sustainability principles so that an insurance sector based on these principles can emerge.

Respect for Human Rights

The Orenda Broker family accepts, as a corporate commitment, respect for the human rights framed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed by the United Nations.

Respect for Animal Rights

The Orenda Broker family accepts, as a corporate commitment, respect for the animal rights framed by the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights proclaimed by UNESCO in 1978 and revised by the International League of Animal Rights in 1989, which emphasises that "all animals have equal rights to exist within the context of biological equilibrium".
